Carrera by Jimmy Choo is the result of a collaboration between the two fashion icons, to create a limited edition line of sunglasses that featured gold plated lenses. I provided both the UX and art direction for this project, and sought to create an experiential site that also fulfilled the primary business objective of selling the sunglasses. The web experience for the launch, allowed users to have the same gold plated experience of wearing the sunglasses. The user could upload their photo to a digital photo booth, try on the sunglasses by applying a series of stickers to their photo and then apply the gold effect. The uploaded photos are then added to a photo gallery for users to browse and share with their friends.
